RUMI is a hospitality project that invites guests to rediscover the art of being — of slowing down, reconnecting and embracing the present through inspiring places, intimate experiences and carefully curated products. It celebrates the beauty of simplicity and the elegance of essential details, while nurturing a genuine sense of comfort, care, and belonging.
Rumi Knokke-Heist is the first chapter of this vision. Nestled between the dunes and the harbor, it reflects the calm rhythm of the Belgian coastline, translated indoors through natural materials, tactile textures, and a palette that evokes warmth, serenity, and understated sophistication. Every element has been thoughtfully chosen to encourage pause, reflection, and a deeper connection with the surrounding landscape.
Once Milano is proud to be part of the group of artisans, experts and artists who have collaborated with RUMI to shape this space devoted to slowing down and refocusing.
The essential, Nordic-inspired aesthetic of the interiors is beautifully complemented by Once Milano’s bed linens in vintage pink and coffee — crafted in soft, muted tones and finished with delicate piping — adding a touch of timeless refinement and artisanal quality to the atmosphere of the rooms.
Among the pieces selected for this collaboration are the Weekend bag, customized with the RUMI monogram, designed for guests to take with them to the beach, and a series of tableware items, such as dishcloths, round placemat covers and rolled-hem napkins, whose clean, understated design perfectly complements the overall sense of harmony and balance within the space.
