Piaval’s story began in 1919 as an artisan workshop specializing in the production of wooden chairs, located in the heart of the Italian Chair District in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Today, it is an internationally recognized brand that has flourished thanks to the dedication of four generations, solid expertise, and a deep commitment to the values of Made in Italy, enriched by collaborations with leading international designers.
Piaval creates seating that harmoniously combines aesthetic research with comfort, ergonomics, usability, safety, and contemporary elegance. Each collection is conceived with a strong design sensibility and a genuine focus on the customer’s needs.
For the photo shoot of their flagship models—Cloche, Macaron, and Trench—Piaval selected table collections by Once Milano.
The round stone blue placemat covers were paired with long-fringe napkins in the same shade, echoing the color of the chairs.
In a different setting, Once Milano’s waxed round placemat covers in white with night blue trim were matched with rolled-hem napkins in a natural tone.
Like Piaval, Once Milano operates across multiple sectors, including trade and hospitality (hotels, resorts, restaurants, etc.). The two companies share a common vision: to create collections that evoke a sense of warmth and belonging, allowing people to feel at ease—even when far from home.
