ONCE MILANO FOR

La Stanza

In Milan, Arianna Lelli Mami, co-founder of Studiopepe, reimagines a 1930s residence through an intimate and thoughtful project that balances the home’s historical memory with a poetic vision.

The project was inspired by the home’s original cementine floor, which we decided to restore. They ultimately shaped the entire color palette,” Arianna explains.

A small yet iconic place in the heart of Garibaldi / Brera district, devoted to Art and Design galleries. This project is a home away from home for travellers who want to find quality, good design and warmth when they are away from home.

The idea was to blend different patterns and let them coexist with a certain alchemy: ‘It’s a bold vision, yet fully aligned with our design language. We call it La Stanza - not only for short stays but also a gallery for art & design, a venue for small intimate events and workshops’, the designer notes.

Many of the furnishings and accessories throughout the home were, of course, designed by the studio, but we also encounter small sculptures created by Arianna and numerous photographs by her partner, Andrea Ferrari.

The home is an emotional refuge, an archive of the things we love and of our work. There are ceramic pieces I made myself, as well as a few collages,’ the designer reveals.

The bedroom is crowned by the wall hanging from the Sibylle Collection - the product of the first collaboration between Once Milano and Studiopepe, celebrating feminine sensibility.

Once Milano is proud to have contributed to the interior styling of this small Milanese gem. A space that is more than a destination: it is a curated experience, a place where craftsmanship, design culture, and emotional storytelling converge to create an environment whose most authentic character lies in its balance of past and present.
