De Gournay Selects Once Milano Linens for the New LA Residence

Once Milano’s iconic bed linens are chosen by de Gourney to decorate part of their new Los Angeles residence.

The Hollywood Hills House enchants and mesmerizes the observer, offering a feast for the eyes: all rooms are adorned with an array of hand-painted papers and hand-embroidered fabrics that transport visitors into the British wall-covering brand’s enchanting world of fantasy and beauty.

Serving as a pied-à-terre for the family of Claud Cecil Gurney, de Gournay’s founder, the residence is accessible by appointment to select clients — acting more like a living portfolio than a typical showroom.

The company’s design team has meticulously curated the interiors to reflect the light and landscape of Southern California, combining exquisite selections from the de Gournay collection with complementary linens and furnishings that allow the backgrounds to shine.

In particular, one of the bedrooms of the residence has been dressed with Once Milano’s bedsheets and the timeless linen blanket with black and white checked pattern —an aptly captivating combination of styles for a house meant to enchant.
