Borgo Santandrea
Borgo Santandrea - situated in between Amalfi and Positano - is the realisation of the passion project of two Italian families with generations of hospitality experience between them. They radically transformed an existing 1960s hotel, an ambitious yet respectful restoration carried out over almost four years in order to create a unique environment where Mid-Century design meets Mediterranean style and Italian craftsmanship.
The owners’ ultimate goal was to create an atmosphere in which guests feel they are not staying in a hotel, but rather in an iconic Italian villa by the Mediterranean.
Their private collection of mid-century design pieces is complemented by the finest selection of Italian furniture, lighting, and fabrics which - in many cases - have been custom-made for Borgo Santandrea.
Ultimately, the core of the owners’ ambitious project are the many gifted craftsmen and artists, that in line with the local centuries-old traditions have been working to make Borgo Santandrea a “Made in Italy showcase”.
Once Milano’s linen dressing gowns and accessories, with custom-made monograms and color patterns recalling the light blue tiles of the resort, have been selected to adorn Borgo Sant’Andrea’s rooms and spas.
Once Milano’s newly launched loungewear collection can be found at the hotel’s boutique, guiding guests into a moment of relaxation and refined shopping.
Also, the brand’s table collection has been selected to decorate the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Alici.
